Mech irlandzki: 5 g na 20 litrów brzeczki. Odważoną porcję mchu wymieszać w wodzie (na każde 5 g mchu 25 ml wody). Pozostawić na 10-15 minut i dodać do brzeczki na ostatnie 15 minut gotowania.
