Płatki daje się do zacierania bo są nieaktywne enzymatycznie, podobnie słody specjalne (tu: czekoladowy jasny) - trzeba wykonać tzw partial mash z płatków, czekoladowego jasnego i słodu pilzneńskiego (najlepiej po tyle samo każdego).
