Chmiel na aromat dodano po schłodzeniu brzeczki do 75 stopni i przetrzymano przez 30 minut.

40 l brzeczki podzielono na dwa wiadra i dodano do każdego 5 l wody w celu rozcieńczenia do 15 Blg. Poziom goryczki został wyliczony dla warki 50 l. Do jednego wiadra dodano nawodnione drożdże z jednej paczki, do drugiego z dwóch paczek w celu porównania efektów.
